Golf is a great sport no matter where you play it, but when you play at The Bridges at Claresholm, you gain an even bigger appreciation for the game.
It has to do with the location. The Bridges spans across a wide stretch of glorious open prairie, its carefully manicured fairways and greens a lush carpet in the middle of golden wheat fields. A brilliant blue sky arches down to the horizon in the distance, which stretches in either direction as far as the eye can see. Birds twitter. The sun shines bright. It’s heaven on the prairie. The Bridges is truly one of southern Alberta’s great golf destinations.
And then there’s the course itself – 18 beautiful holes of challenging play. The front nine is a contemporary design, while the back nine follows traditional links-style architecture. Bunkers are abundant, greens are large and contoured, and water is a factor on 13 holes. The course is rewarding not just visually, but skill-wise as well.
As if all of that weren’t enough, the Clubhouse has a licensed restaurant, there’s a driving range where you can warm up before teeing off, and the Pro Shop is always well stocked. From anywhere in southern Alberta, The Bridges at Claresholm Golf Club is a short drive to a great game.
