I am married to an amazing man who gets dragged along on all my endeavors, and a pet parent of two mischievous felines. As a BC turned Alberta girl with a love for adventures, photography, and the arts, I love spontaneous drives that lead to places otherwise overlooked.

My name is Jeff Hinman and I was born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. I have been exploring southern Alberta since I was a young boy. I enjoy being surrounded by nature, whether it is on top of a summit, or tucked away fly fishing along a river deep in the bush. My goal for my photography is to tell a story and to inspire people to get out and explore nature. I have won awards and contests, been published in local magazines, and have sold my prints worldwide. I love adventure, knowing that every day will be different and full of surprises and that I never know what will be around the bend.

I've been lucky enough to live in Nova Scotia and travel to places like San Francisco and New York where I've been able to experience and then photograph diverse landscapes. Though I do love the travel, photographing Southern Alberta has been my growing passion over the last few years. My family (husband and five fantastic kids) have become accustomed to my passion as we take sudden stops on the side of the road on the way home from grocery shopping for a great sunset or walk further up a trail to get just the right light on the mountains. I started my photography primarily with people (weddings, families, etc) and still enjoy doing that but I find some of my favourite pictures are those of my kids experiencing the beauty that Southern Alberta has to offer.
