Chinook Country wins Travel Alberta Alto Award in Marketing Partnership Category
Partners involved with Southern Alberta Circle Tours
show how far good collaboration goes
Lethbridge, AB (October 26, 2015) - The 26 partners involved in the Southern Alberta Circle Tours campaign win an Alto Award in the Marketing Partnership category at the 15th Annual Travel Alberta Industry Conference in Banff. The Alto Awards recognize individuals and organizations committed to enriching Alberta’s tourism industry that inspire others by demonstrating what can be achieved by working together.
“Each partner involved is strong, experienced and truly committed to creating awareness for our region,” says Candace Ebrey, Marketing Director with Chinook Country Tourist Association. “They are true testimony to the benefits of placing the “greater good” above personal gain, which is the reason why this campaign was so successful.”
This campaign featured dozens of “Goosebump” attractions in southern Alberta through rich story telling that was cross promoted on various website and social media platforms. This campaign was designed to encourage travellers to explore the hidden “secrets” in southern Alberta in a create-your-own-adventure format.
“This was the first year that we had the Crown of the Continent and the Canadian Badlands working together at this capacity,” says Nikolaus Wyslouzil, Executive Director of Chinook Country Tourist Association.
“By increasing the amount of non-traditional partners that do not typically work together, we’ve broken ground and it’s exciting to see the traction we’ve gained in bringing awareness to our region. “
