Sodexo, one of the world's largest food service management companies, is proud to host Chef Michael Smith, Canada's best-known chef at the University of Lethbridge on Wednesday October 3rd. Michael is an award winning cookbook author, newspaper columist, professional chef, show host and home cook. As the National Sustainability Advocate for Sodexo, he will be on the University of Lethbridge campus cooking and serving food for students, signing books, and speaking about sustainability.
The schedule of events for the day is as follows:
-10:30 am: Come and have your Fast Flavours book signed by Chef Michael Smith at the University Hall Atrium.
- 11:45 am: Chef Michael Smith will serve up lunch at the University's Coulee Junction Cafeteria. Join the students, faculty and staff for lunch on campus.
- 2:30 pm: Learn about sustainability from Chef Michael Smith in the Students' Union Ballroom.
Free parking for the event will be located in Lot E.
